How to do Hypnosis Free

I suppose there are any number of ways that you could get free hypnosis. I have had several people try creative methods.

I did smoking cessation hypnosis with a client. Before the session, he told me that he had stopped smoking by using a hypnotist in the past and after the session he told me that my session was much more involved that his previous experience. When he was ready to pay my secretary, he only had a crediit card and no cash. I did not accept credit cards at that time and he had not bothered to check. He promised to send a check later. After a couple of weeks and the check had not shown up, I assumed that I had just lost the fee. But about three months later, I did receive a check.

I also had a woman come for smoking cessation therapy and she told me that she intended to continue drinking and spending her evenings in bars. I didn’t have a very bright view of her prognosis and later found out she had stopped payment on her check. I could have followed up on this becuase I did provide the service she requested but I decided to let it go. She did get hypnosis free but I don’t believe that she was successful in reaching her goal. I have alwat had a policy that if someone was unhappy with their session, I would refund their money but I have never had anyone ask.

And I have had one check returned but the patient was in the office to make it good before the bank notified me.

But, there are other ways to do hypnosis free. I offered to do free therapy for people who did not have money if they would do a set amount of hours of volunteer work. Very few people took me up on this offer.

I believe that to get the most out of hypnosis you have to have an investment in the process. That does not have to be a monetary investment. There are places on the internet that will offer some free audio files and others for a minimal fee. The investment here would be that they require taking the time to listen to them often enough for them to begin workimg. So, if you consider your time to be worth money, you cannot do hypnosis free.
