Hypnosis and Weight Control

Hypnosis is a safe and effective way to loose and weight.  It can help you loose the weight you want and to develop a healthy eating plan and increase physical activity. It can also aid with maintaining the weight you have lost. The key is to change behaviors by focusing on change in the subconscious mind.   The conscious mind can know that the behavior change is needed and wanted but until the subconscious mind accepts and believes that weight lose is in your best interest, it will not allow it.

There can be many reasons for the subconscious to believe that it is in your best interest to retain the weight but it must become ready to release the weight for it to happen. In some cases, it is sufficient to use direct suggestions to initiate the weight loss process. In other cases it will be necessary to do regression to discover the actual reasons for weight gain and why the subconscious believes that maintaining weight gain is in the best interest of  the client..  I have also used a type of hypnosis called Ultra Height Hypnosis that I learned from Gerald Kein to assist people with weight loss.  In this case the person is able to go into their subconscious and make the needed changes on their own without communicating the changes to the hypnotist.

There are many ways for a Hypnotist to access the subconscious and they can all be effective.  The key is to  find a hypnostist who has a program that has proven effective.  Self-hypnosis can also be effective and there are several hypnotists offering programs on CD. I believe that the best way to achieve self-hypnosis is to learn the skill without a CD and for the individual to practice this on a regular basis. Another possibility  is to have a custom made program made for CD.
