Why Hypnosis?
I’ve just realized that I have been a Hypnotist for 9 years. I also have been a Psychotherapist for 15 years and have worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor and an Assistant Substance Abuse Counselor for several years before that. The more I work with hypnosis, the more find that it can be used more quickly and more effectively than my other disciplines.
My interest in Hypnosis goes back as long as I can remember. I can remember checking hypnosis and self-hypnosis books out of the library when I was in grade school and Jr. High School. I read the books but I did not really understand what hypnosis was all about. I guess at that time in my life I may have been interested in being in control of other people as the books implied. But I did read them and had continued to read them as time went on.
I no longer have a desie to control people and in fact my goal today is to help empower them to be able to take control of their lives. I also have a desire to educate the general public about the about the diverse benefits of hypnosis. I would like to cover as many different aspects of hypnosis as possible. I would also like to talk about self-hypnosis and covert hypnosis. Covert Hypnosis has sparked considerable interest on the internet. I will discuss NLP, stage hypnosis, individual, and group hypnosis.
Ther are a lot of people, both on the internet and and in other media that promote extreme uses of hypnosis. We will explore these subject from cancer and HIV treatment to penis and breast enlargement. This blog will endeaver to clear up the mystery and bring the art of hypnosis into the modern world.
The purpose of this blog is to explore the lessons learned from my clients and my training and a variety of other sources,.
